About Erika
I grew up in West Texas dreaming about horses, but never had the opportunity to own them until I was an adult. After leasing my first horse, I fell in love and dove in head first. I became a volunteer with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and have gotten to experience many aspects of the love of horses, including wilderness riding and pack trips. I am lucky to be able to roll that passion into being able to provide custom clinics in First Aid and other beneficial programs for horse owners.
Helping horses and their owners reach their goals through life’s challenges is my goal.
About Equi-First Aid USA
Rocking Star EFA is certified through Equi-First Aid USA, an organization founded in 2007 by veterinarians and horse professionals who saw a need for horse owners to have the same kind of first responder skills that people already learn through Red Cross training, but for their horses. Courses are veterinarian designed and cover everything from basic and advanced equine first aid to wilderness emergencies, disaster planning, and safe trailering practices. These courses are also recognized for continuing education credit by several professional organizations. As a Senior Instructor certified through Equi-First Aid USA, I bring that same standard of training directly to you, wherever you and your horses are.
